How to use ZakERP
Every task you actually do — signing in, punching, applying for leave, approving a request, finding a number — written as a short walkthrough with the real screen names on it. Search it, read it, print the page you need.

For everyone
Seven chapters cover everything an ordinary employee ever needs. Read the first one once; come back to the others when you need them.
Getting started
Signing in, what the home page is telling you, moving around, searching, and the settings worth changing on your first day.
Attendance & punching
Punching from the device and from your phone, what each status means, checking your own hours, and what to do when a punch is missing.
Applying for leave
Reading your balance, filling the application correctly, the Include Holiday question, who approves it, and what Returned means.
Finding things
The period bar, keyword box and filters; sorting and paging; exporting to CSV, Excel or PDF; and emailing a result straight from the screen.
Charts & dashboards
What a KPI tile is really counting, how to read the charts, and how to rearrange your own home page so it opens on what you use.
My Work, tasks & chat
Your inbox of everything waiting on you, the task board, shortcuts, and the difference between the bell and the chat button.
Payslips & allowances
Where Days Paid comes from, checking your allowance and meal lines day by day, and how to raise a pay query that gets answered.
For approvers & administrators
Two more chapters for the people who sign things off and the people who keep the system running.
Approving requests
Finding what is waiting on you, what Approve, Return and Cancel each do, and how the approval ladder decides who signs next.
For administrators
Users and roles, menu access, document numbering, the work calendar, the Customisation Studio, and the traps worth knowing in advance.
Not sure where to start?
If you are new to systems like this, the concepts chapter on the main site explains what an ERP is doing and why it asks for things the way it does. Twenty minutes there makes every screen here easier to read.
- Read Getting started once, properly.
- Read the chapter for whatever you have to do this week.
- Use the search box for everything after that.
- Curious about the ideas underneath? ERP 101.
Your screens may differ slightly. ZakERP is configured per company: menu names, leave types, shift timings and who approves what are all settings. Where this manual names something your system calls by another name, your system is right — ask whoever administers it.
Printing. Every chapter prints cleanly — the navigation, search box and buttons drop away and you get just the instructions. Use your browser's print command on the chapter you need.
Nobody here will ever ask for your password. Not by email, not on the phone, not in chat. If somebody does, they are not from your IT department.
