How to use ZakERP

Every task you actually do — signing in, punching, applying for leave, approving a request, finding a number — written as a short walkthrough with the real screen names on it. Search it, read it, print the page you need.

For everyone

Seven chapters cover everything an ordinary employee ever needs. Read the first one once; come back to the others when you need them.

Extra responsibility

For approvers & administrators

Two more chapters for the people who sign things off and the people who keep the system running.

Not sure where to start?

If you are new to systems like this, the concepts chapter on the main site explains what an ERP is doing and why it asks for things the way it does. Twenty minutes there makes every screen here easier to read.

  • Read Getting started once, properly.
  • Read the chapter for whatever you have to do this week.
  • Use the search box for everything after that.
  • Curious about the ideas underneath? ERP 101.

Your screens may differ slightly. ZakERP is configured per company: menu names, leave types, shift timings and who approves what are all settings. Where this manual names something your system calls by another name, your system is right — ask whoever administers it.

Printing. Every chapter prints cleanly — the navigation, search box and buttons drop away and you get just the instructions. Use your browser's print command on the chapter you need.

Nobody here will ever ask for your password. Not by email, not on the phone, not in chat. If somebody does, they are not from your IT department.
